After traveling alone to London for his father’s coronation, Prince Harry is back with his wife Meghan in California. There they showed up twice.
Last week, Prince Harry paid a lightning visit to his old home. For the coronation of Charles III. he traveled to the UK, but flew back to his family in the US immediately after the ceremony. Duchess Meghan stayed in California to celebrate the birthday of son Archie, who turned four on May 6th.
After his return, Harry’s priority was spending time with his wife. Over the weekend, the couple were first spotted together again in public as they exited a Santa Barbara restaurant. The Michelin-starred Sushi Bar Montecito is not far from where the Sussexes live.
Harry and Meghan shine at the appointment
At the beginning of the week they went back to work – and showed up together again. Photos showing the two at the appointment have been published on their Archewell Foundation website. The meeting with a local youth group in Santa Barbara was about sharing mental health issues. The event coincided with Mental Health Awareness Month, which aims to raise awareness of mental health every May.
According to the foundation, during the hour-long event, the Sussexes spoke to teenagers aged 14 to 18 about the opportunities social media offers to socialize and create community, but also the dangers they bring.
Harry and Meghan have been involved in this area for many years and also speak publicly about their own mental health. Harry has already stated several times in interviews that he is in therapy and how important it is to break the taboo on this topic.
