The three biggest game releases last week were Dead Space Remake, Forspoken and Hi-Fi Rush. The latter is interesting because we didn’t know (officially, there were rumors) of its existence until it was suddenly announced and released on January 25th.

It now turns out that not being hyped beforehand didn’t hurt the game at all. On the contrary actually. SteamDB has rounded up the top ten best-selling products on Valve’s platform last week, and it turns out that despite Hi-Fi Rush (8th place) being included with Game Pass, it actually outsold Square Enix’s much-hyped and massive Japanese RPG Forspoken (which didn’t even make the top 10). To make it all the more impressive, SteamDB measures revenue, and since Hi-Fi Rush is a $30 product while Forspoken costs $70 – this shows that the difference in units is even much greater.

So how did the Dead Space Remake go then? Well, it performed the best of the troika, coming in at number three on the list. We actually have reviews of all three of these games with us, and you can read them here; The Dead Space Remake review, the Forspoken review and the Hi-Fi Rush review.

Are you currently playing any of these three games?

Thanks Game Infinity
