A vigilant road user informed the Bamberg police on Friday morning (April 7, 2023) about a snaking driver on the road coming from Sassanfahrt in the direction of Rothensand. The Bamberg-Land Police Inspectorate reports on this in a press release.
The driver caught the attention of the road user because of his extremely unsafe driving style, and he also repeatedly used the oncoming lane. Bamberg-Land police patrols finally drove to the 43-year-old’s owner’s address and were able to meet him there.

There, the reason for the driving behavior of the 43-year-old quickly became clear, he had a blood alcohol level of 3.06 per thousand. The driver’s license was secured on site, and the man is now facing a criminal complaint.
