Hispanic father drowns while trying to save his children in a lake

A Hispanic father from Bucks County, Pennsylvania drowned trying to save his children, according to authorities.

It was reported that the event took place on June 29 in the evening at Lake Nockamixon.

Apparently, Marvin Alexan Fernández Chicas, 37, disappeared into the body of water in an effort to reach his offspring who had problems in the pond.

The Bucks County coroner’s office reported in writing that the Hispanic drowned and the event was classified as accidental.

The authorities notified the relatives of the deceased and extended their condolences for what happened. So far it is not clear the state of health of the minors or if someone else was involved in the rescue.
