A third believe that the government has done “just enough”.

In a second part of the Novus survey, those who responded to the survey can make their assessment regarding the government’s handling of meeting the demands that Turkey has set for approving Sweden as a NATO member.

A large number, 42 percent, believe that the government has done too much, while only 6 percent believe that the government has not done enough. Almost a third believe that the government has done enough.

– The government has repeatedly received criticism in the debate for being too aggressive towards the Turkish demands. Four out of ten voters agree with this criticism, but public opinion is quite divided. It is mainly voters who sympathize with the opposition who think the government has done too much to appease Turkey, while voters who sympathize with the government parties think the government has done enough, says Mats Knutsson.
