Georginio Rutter continues his Premier League career. As announced by Leeds United, the striker is coming to England from TSG Hoffenheim with immediate effect and will sign until 2028.
According to reports, up to 40 million euros will flow for Rutter, who came to Kraichgau from Stade Rennes for 750,000 euros two years ago. In 64 games, the 20-year-old has scored eleven times and provided eight assists.
Hoffenheim’s sporting director Alexander Rosen says about the sale: “Transfers like Georginio Rutter’s to TSG Hoffenheim are only possible because of transfers like Georginio Rutter’s to Leeds United.”
Rosen explains: “In view of the third-highest transfer volume in the club’s history and the clearly communicated desire to change, it would not have made sense to block a young player like Georgi from the path he was pursuing. I’m sure it’s not just me who will miss him.”
