The next game in the Harry Potter franchise will be set long before the iconic books and movies. Hogwarts Legacy will take players to the world of 1900 of the series. It is here that fans will have the opportunity to explore Hogwarts castle and the grounds that surround it through an open world map and many spells and abilities, learning more about the unique and exciting history.
However, after several delays, Hogwarts Legacy is finally on track to release on February 10, 2023. And while some fans of the franchise have struggled to decide whether or not to support it following the controversy surrounding the creator of Harry PotterJK Rowlingall those interested in booking have some interesting options to choose from.
The game comes in three editions: Base, Deluxe, and Collector’s Edition. So, here’s a rundown of everything included, as well as your pre-order details.
When did Hogwarts Legacy pre-orders start?
Hogwarts Legacy pre-orders began on August 25, 2022 at 8am (Pacific Time) via its official website. Additionally, alongside pre-orders for the base game, there will also be a Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition that was revealed at Gamescom 2022, as well as the Collector’s Edition shared by the official Hogwarts Legacy Twitter account.

How do I get early access to Hogwarts Legacy?
Players can access the game before February 10, 2023 by pre-ordering the editions Deluxe, Digital Deluxe either Collector’s Edition of the game.
As detailed in the social media posts in the pre-order breakdown, players who pre-order the enhanced editions of the game will be able to access Hogwarts Legacy on February 7, 2023, three days before the official release.
It also appears that the Collector’s Edition will be available to purchase in-store starting February 7, though it’s unclear which stores will carry the edition or what general availability will be.
Currently, it looks like the Collector’s Edition will retail for $300, with prices fluctuating by region. There’s no word on the number of Collector’s Edition packs that will be sold, though they will likely have a pre-order limit.
