Joe Biden “hopes” that the screenwriters on strike in Hollywood will be offered a “fair” deal, he said Monday at the White House.

“I sincerely hope that the screenwriters’ strike in Hollywood will find an end and that the screenwriters will be offered the fair deal they deserve as soon as possible,” said the American president on Monday, before a screening in l honor of the Asian community in the United States.

For the past week, many screenwriters have been on strike in Hollywood after the failure of negotiations with the main studios and platforms, which related to an increase in their remuneration.
