Juarez City.- Three days after the explosion of a homemade bomb near the cinema area of ​​the Gran Patio Zaragoza square, the District Attorney for the Northern Zone reported that it is carrying out the corresponding investigation.

Through an official position, the regional prosecutor’s office pointed out that it is the Specialized Unit for the Investigation of Crimes against Physical Integrity and Damages that is in charge of the proceedings for what happened on the night of Friday, April 14.

That day, around 11:00 p.m., the detonation of a homemade bomb was reported inside the square, near where the movie theaters are located.

To attend to the explosion, elements of the National Defense Secretariat in Juárez came, who commented that it was a homemade bomb, made with a plastic bottle containing muriatic acid, aluminum and nails.

After the explosion of the device, no injured people were reported, nor was it necessary to evacuate the shopping center, although there were scare reactions due to the shrill sound of the explosion, military personnel reported at the time.

The remains of the bomb were secured by elements of the Sedena on Friday.

The Prosecutor’s Office specified today that the ministerial elements and agents of the Public Ministry have requested the recordings of the video surveillance cameras of the place to find whoever is responsible for the fact.

He added that so far no person or tenant has come to file a complaint for the fact.
