In the first part of the Affinity Photo series for beginners and Photoshop users, we already dealt with the basics and lens corrections. This part deals with the adjustment of tonal values, contrasts and sharpness.

For the sake of clarity, we continue to work on the same image. We show once again the result of the lens correction by turning it off and on again.

Now it’s time to edit the tonal values. Most of the settings we need are in the Basic panel. Here we see which settings we can make. We can make a kind of exposure adjustment here, determine the black point and the brightness. Then there is the Enhance area where you can adjust the contrast. You can also adjust the saturation or adjust the luminosity of the colors.
