It’s Steam’s turn to offer you a review of your video game year on its service. After Spotify, Nintendo, Twitch and PlayStation, and many others that we have not mentioned in our columns (SensCritique, Deezer, Apple Music, etc.), now the platform specializing in video games just released a personalized retrospective for each of its members.
You must go to https://store.steampowered.com/replay to view it, making sure to log in to your Steam account if you haven’t already. You can visit this address from a web browser or access it through the service application. The announcement of Steam Replay was made on December 26 on Twitter, but also on Steam.
Steam comments sometimes right… sometimes less
Steam’s review page is provided. What’s more, “cards” are clickable, allowing you to view more detailed statistics. What time of year did the games launch Lost Ark and Red Dead Redemption 2, for example, and what achievements were unlocked. The number of sessions, the days in a row, the total playing time are also provided.
Steam also compares you to the community average: number of days in a row, number of titles, number of achievements unlocked. The site also looks at whether you are more of a new type (games released in 2022), whether you prefer relatively recent titles, less than eight years old, or whether you are more “retro”.
Of course, there are some generic comments from Steam that can make you smile.
