As of this Wednesday, metered parking returned to its usual hours and with updated rates. As reported by the Municipality, the service has already left the special summer regime with which it worked in January and operates again from 7 to 20, from Monday to Saturday.
Along the same lines, it was also indicated that, as of this Wednesday, the value of the service will be more expensive and the residents who park their vehicles in the areas reached by the system will pay $80 per hour from 7 to 10 and from 14 to 20, while those who do so during peak hours, from 10 to 14, must pay $100.
“As in each beginning of the year, we established a reduced schedule taking into account the sharp decrease in activities and circulation that is usually registered during this time,” they explained from the Commune. “This ordering method allows us to achieve a constant rotation of cars in key areas of the city, promote the use of public transport and alternative means such as bicycles,” they detailed.
