A streaming service becomes a gaming provider: More than 50 games are already available on Netflix. The streaming giant wants 2023 40 new games publish. Anyone who already has a Netflix subscription can download the games to their smartphone or tablet free of charge.
Netflix mainly relies on indie games like the build-up game “Terra Nil”, but also on classics. So evolved Ubisoft 3 games exclusively for Netflix, including a mobile game from the Assassin’s Creed universe, which will be released to accompany the planned series on Netflix.
No ads and no in-app purchases
If you have a Netflix subscription, you can use the games on Android smartphones and tablets or iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch for free. There are no ads or in-app purchases. A software version is required Android 8.0 or higher as well iOS 15 or higher.
The game is installed directly on the device, which is why sufficient storage space should be available. Netflix also reserves the right that some games higher hardware claims have. For example, a smartphone with at least 3 gigabytes of RAM or the iPhone 11 or newer is recommended for the game “Raji: An Ancient Epic”.
How to get Netflix games
Step 1: Open the Netflix app and tap the “Games” icon at the bottom of the screen to go to the game selection (Android). On iOS, you have to swipe down on the home screen to get to the games section. Alternatively, you can also search for “Mobile Games” in the app.

Download directly from PlayStore or App Store
Alternatively, you can also PlayStore or in App Store search for the Netflix games directly. To do this, either enter the name of the game or search for “Netflix, Inc.” to Netflix as publisher. The game can then be installed as usual.
When opening the game, a Netflix user profile must be selected again. If the Netflix app is not installed on the device, the first time you open the game you have to log in with the E-Mail-Address and the password sign in for the Netflix account.
If you don’t have the Netflix app installed, you’ll need to register before playing.

Multiple people can also play the same game on the same device. All you have to do after starting the game is click on the one that appears on the edge profile icon Tap and select the appropriate profile. The associated score is then loaded.
