WHAT IS THE MISS UNIVERSE 2022 PRELIMINARY EVENT ABOUT?
The Preliminary Competition of the contest will be held this Wednesday January 11 Y the scores obtained by the candidates plus their personal interview will add up to qualify for the semifinal of the beauty contest.
“The preliminary date (bathing suit and gala dress). The 16 highest qualify. The scores of the candidates are never revealed.”explained Jessica Newton, organizer of Miss Peru, on her Instagram account.

The parades in bathing suits, gala dress will be broadcast from 8:00 pm (Peruvian time)Y the parade in typical costume will be possible from 10:00 pm (Peruvian time). Both moments will be broadcast through the Miss Universe YouTube channel.

HOW TO SEE MISS UNIVERSE FROM COLOMBIA?
The maximum beauty event around the planet will take place this Saturday January 14 from 8:00 pm (Colombian time) and the transmissions will be in charge of the channel RCN and TNT (via cable).
In addition, the event will be broadcast by the Miss Universe YouTube channel.
WHO IS MARIA FERNANDA ARISTIZABAL?
Born in Quindío in 1997, María Fernanda Aristizábal Urrea, better known as Mafe Aristizábal, managed to stand out in the world of modeling after being chosen in 2019 as Miss Colombia at the age of 22. However, a series of unforeseen events occurred that jeopardized her career as a brand new Colombian model.
It turns out that, at the beginning of 2020, the pandemic cut short any possibility of Mafe being able to fully internationalize, which is why it lost some media and national popularity. But that’s not all, because the lack of contracts and agreements made it impossible for the model to attend the long-awaited Miss Universe during the following years.
However, that did not end up discouraging the beautiful María Fernanda, as she managed to be named Miss Universe Colombia 2022, an announcement that would arrive on April 6 of that year and that managed to put the model back in the race towards her goal: to be the most beautiful woman in the world.
After that, the hard work, preparations, practices and others have been some of the most exhausting for the one born in Quindío, although that does not take away the dream of being able to be crowned in the most important beauty pageant on the entire planet.

In fact, she recently referred to the dreams she had as a child in an interview for a local media, showing that her fighting spirit comes from within.
