The messaging company noted that “when you cannot connect to WhatsApp directly, you have the option of connecting through a proxy server set up by volunteers and organizations dedicated to helping people communicate freely and securely.”
In order to enjoy this new alternative, which is completely free and does not require any other extra application, users must search reliable sources for the proxy codes they have created and select the one they are going to use.
How to use the proxy?
When you run out of internet connection or mobile data and need to send an urgent message, you just have to follow the following steps to have WhatsApp instant messaging.
The first thing you should know is that this process applies to both Android and iOS phones. You only need to have the latest version of the App installed.
Mainly, you must choose a reliable Proxy address, then enter the chats tab within the application and go to the “Settings” or “Configuration” option.
Next, select the data storages section and press where it says Proxy. Next, select the “Set Proxy” function and enter the chosen proxy server to activate it as an IP address.
