HOUSTON – A Houston police officer shot a woman in the face early Monday morning after she apparently tried to break into his apartment.
The incident occurred shortly before 1 am in an apartment located at 10333 Clay Road, northwest of the city.
According to authorities, the woman was rushed to an area hospital in stable condition.
The chief of the Police Department, Troy Finner, will release more details of what happened on Monday.
