If you want an immersive experience, HTC has you covered. The brand pushes the limits of innovation and took advantage of CES 2023 to present its VIVE XR Elite. A true jewel of technology, this virtual reality headset really has everything to please aficionados.

The VIVE XR Elite goes further, mixing virtual reality and mixed reality. Powerful and versatile, this helmet is nonetheless light and compact. Weighing only 625 grams, battery included, you can take it everywhere easily to live your immersive experiences wherever you are.

VIVE XR Elite, the creme de la creme

To dive into the metaverse made in HTC, the Viverse, to play, to watch your series, to play sports or to be more productive, the VIVE XR Elite is ideal.

This virtual reality headset offers 4K resolution, with 2K per eye, a 110° field of view and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. WiFi 6E and Bluetooth are on the agenda, as is hand tracking with 6 degrees of freedom (6DoF). On the other hand, if you want to go further with the functions eye tracking and face trackingwe will have to wait for the release of a separate version… Which will surely cost a little more.

The VIVE XR Elite also offers a camera dedicated to the pass-through to provide the ability to enjoy mixed reality. Unlike virtual reality which allows you to dive into an entirely digital universe, mixed reality consists of the superposition of digital content on the images of the real world provided by the camera in question. From its launch, users will be able to enjoy a hundred new experiences, games or applications, on VIVEPORT.

HTC is very proud to talk about versatility when it introduces its VIVE XR Elite. For good reason, the helmet adapts to you and can switch from one configuration to another in the blink of an eye. So you can remove the faceplate to clean your helmet more easily or, in the future, add accessories. It is always good to know.

If you’re worried about battery life, HTC guarantees you two hours of use once the headset is unplugged. Note that the VIVE XR Elite benefits from fast charging at 30W via a USB-C charger.

Just unveiled at CES, the VIVE XR Elite is already available for pre-order. To celebrate its release, HTC is offering an offer on the pack including two controllers and a battery.
