Researchers believe that external factors such as exposure to external chemical factors.
Over the last 80 years, more precisely between 1942 and 2021, the penis humans increased when erectwhile the length remains stable in moments of sagging.
This is the conclusion of a new study that, at the outset, could be positive, but which hides another reality. The superior size of male sexual organs may actually be due to factors such as chemical exposure that interact with the hormones.
The research was based on a meta analysis of scientific studies on the subject carried out over almost eight decades, in which 55,761 individuals male.
“The length of the erection significantly increased over time in various regions of the world and across all age groups,” specifies the team in the new study. “After adjusting the data for geographic region, age, and populationwe concluded that the length of the erect penis increased on average 24% over the last 29 years”, point out the researchers cited by the IFL Science.
According to experts, the motivation for studying the evolution of penis size over time is related to other changes also registered in men’s reproductive health in recent years, as is the case with the decrease in sperm.

“There might be a number of factors to consider, such as chemical exposure, namely to pesticides or hygiene products, in contact with the hormonal system. These chemicals endocrine system disruptorsand there are many of them, exist in our environment and in our diet,” explained Eisenberg.
“As we change the make-up of our bodies, so too does our hormonal environment. Chemical exposure has also been pointed out as a cause of entry of boys and girls into puberty earlierwhich ends up affecting genital development.”
Other factors were also considered by the team, such as the techniques of measurementThe temperature or the state of excitement of the participants — which can affect the results obtained.
In view of the conclusions obtained, the researchers understand that the topic deserves a further study, given the implications they may have. “The increase happened over a period of time relatively short,” pointed out Eisenberg.
“If changes are happening this fast, it means that something powerful it’s happening in our bodies. As such, we must try to confirm these findings and, if confirmed, we must determine the cause of these changes.”
