Who last at Aldi If you bought dairy products, you should pay close attention to the information on an article: there is currently one recall for one Cheese, which is produced in an Upper Franconian factory. However, this could be dangerous foreign body condition.
The Milchwerke Oberfranken West eG therefore warn against the “Hofburger Gratinkäse” in the light version. For reasons of preventive consumer protection, the dairy is recalling the cheese, since it cannot be ruled out that there are isolated plastic foreign bodies in the article. The company announced this in an official announcement on Friday (February 17, 2023) and on its website.
Cheese recall at Aldi: Milchwerke Oberfranken warn of the product
The product was offered in Aldi supermarkets and has since been withdrawn from sale. The following branches are affected by the recall Aldi north and Aldi south: Mörfelden, Kirchheim, Rastatt, Mahlberg, Murr, Kleinaitingen, Ebersberg, Geisenfeld, Adelsdorf and Helmstadt (Aldi Süd) as well as Datteln, Greven, Herten, Lingen, Barleben (Meitzendorf), Mittenwalde, Hann, Münden, Radevormwald, Rinteln, Salzgitter, Seefeld, Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock, Lehrte, Sievershausen, Weimar (Grammetal), Werl, Weyhe and Wilsdruff (Aldi Nord).
Anyone who has already bought the gratin cheese should not eat it, but return it to an Aldi branch. Customers can also get the purchase price refunded – even without presenting the receipt. Of the recall only the article mentioned and no other BBD of the gratin cheese or other products of the dairy Milchwerke Oberfranken West eG are affected.
