– I’m having an awfully good time, says Mia Gundersen and laughs.
– Is it that intense?
– That’s it, it’s nice, she continues.
She says that the relationship has lasted for a few months. Just before Christmas, she shared that she had met a man.
– It’s a bit embarrassing to say that, but it was on Tinder. I never thought I’d meet someone on Tinder, because I’ve been there for a while. I haven’t been very good at dating, because I’ve had a few – but very unsuccessful – dates. So I thought: “That won’t work”, she says.
– What are failed dates?
– It’s when you don’t fit together at all, that it’s completely distant. Then you sort of have to tell that person that it won’t work, and I think that’s difficult.

But then it turned out to be one good date. And full throttle.
– It was a bit strange, I invited him to see “Sister Act”, where I play a nun. So before we met, he sat for three hours and watched me as a nun, she says, before continuing:

Mia believes that meeting someone in adulthood is different.
– You have a completely different perspective on meeting someone. What is important to me is that he must have some qualities that make me persevere. That he sees who I really am and not least that we are honest with each other. In any case, we all have a past with us and it must be reconciled. Stay with your best friend
Linni and her chosen one have been together for around a year. Last year she fell in love with the man who until then had been her best friend.
– It was actually my very best boy friend. And after I didn’t find anyone on “Linni seeks the dream prince”, he opened up and said that he noticed it very much – especially when I was on that dating programme. He didn’t want to lose me and he had developed feelings, she says.

She has given a lot of thought to entering into a relationship with such a good friend.
– I was terrified to bet, because I was so afraid that he would become an ex, because he means so much to me. But like the poker players we are, we went “all in” and I’m very happy about that today.
It was in the poker environment that they first met six years ago.
– It is not “just, just” to go from best friends to lovers. Suddenly there are some new rules, and we know each other’s deepest secrets – which is both positive and negative. And suddenly you can feel a bit of jealousy and it hasn’t been like that before, but it’s because you’ve grown really fond of each other, then. Simply in love, she says and smiles.
– And that love is still as strong?
– It comes and goes, we have our “ups and downs” like everyone else. You have to work on love like everything else in life, but I am very, very, very much in love with my boyfriend.
Communicates well
As a single person, Mia received many different requests on Tinder. What made her fall for her boyfriend Aleksander was the normalcy he could give her.
– First of all, he is very honest, he is good at communicating. He is very emotional and actually we are quite similar there. We complement each other very well and we have a lot of fun together.
She says that they come up with a lot of fun, and at the weekend they went on an “expedition”.
– We have the ice bath, we have been on an expedition in half a meter of snow through a campsite. We felt like we were at the North Pole. I was hanging behind him and I had to laugh, because it must have been quite a sight. It was hard to walk in that snow, down to a beach, where we sat and enjoyed ourselves – took a glass, kissed and kissed and just had a wonderful time.
– Love is religion for me
Linni thinks it’s lovely to enter the new year with her boyfriend.
– I feel very lucky to have fallen in love with my soulmate.
– I notice a big difference with the age where we are. We are both “settled” and we have children – so it is not like we are planning to have any children. We are much safer, enjoy each other and enjoy ourselves, instead of having to make so many plans. I think that is very delicious. At the same time we are also very playful. It is very important to be an adult in the areas you have to be, but at the same time retain that childishness.

Mia says that she doesn’t necessarily had to have a man in her life.
– I just have to say that I haven’t felt anything like that that makes me whole by having another person in my life. I’ve had a good time, it’s been nice to be single. I am confident being alone, I like my own company. I’m still interested in that, but there’s something about doing a deep dive into another person and all that entails. It’s incredibly fun fun.
She admits that it has taken her many years to get to know herself again after a marriage.
– You have to find out what it is you want, and you don’t want just anything either. It’s incredibly nice when it flaps. It is fun.
The two ladies are not only concerned with love in a relationship. They are concerned with showing love to the people around them in everyday life.
– Love is religion for me. I love it, I love to spread love, to give love and it only does good. So yes, to more love, people, Linni concludes and Mia confirms:
