On stage, superstar pink is usually the tough, self-confident singer. But even the power woman needs to recharge her batteries. Especially when she has to deal with severe blows of fate.

“In my job I’m surrounded by so many people who focus so much energy on me,” reveals the mother of two, who has been stirring up the music business for over 20 years in a very personal interview with “Women’s Health”. “And I also make noise professionally. That’s why it’s important for my mental health to switch off.” Instead, she prefers to relax in nature, and is also checking into a wellness camp for the first time.

The last few years have not been easy for the singer privately. Died in August 2021 her father Jim Moore († 75) after battling cancer for eight years. And their nanny, Trish, who was a close family friend, also died of cancer last year. “She was one of the loves of our lives,” Pink now reveals in an interview, adding that the nanny is with her two children ( daughter Willow11 and son Jameson, 6) beforehand and explained to them that she “will be their angel.”

“It makes me cry when I talk about it,” the singer says, as she then recalls her son later walking around the kitchen and saying, ‘Hey grandpa, hey Trish.’

Also, while hiking in the middle of a hailstorm, they could hear little Jameson speaking to his angel: “Trish, I know you are up there; you have to make sure the wind stops!”.

In addition to losing her father and nanny, Pink has also struggled with hip surgery and double disc surgery. She also gained a few kilos that didn’t want to go down again.

“I was probably a bit depressed from all the loss and I just couldn’t lose weight,” the pop star says honestly. “I exercised three hours a day, ate healthy, but my metabolism was a flop – I couldn’t get anything going. And I was like, ‘I’m exhausted, I’m sad, I haven’t been away from my family in three years — not even overnight. I just need a minute.”

So the Grammy Award winner traveled to the SHA Wellness Clinic in Alicante (Spain) where she took part in a two-week wellness program.

“It was the longest time I’ve been away from my kids and the greatest gift I’ve ever given myself,” says Pink looking back. “I did it for me, which is basically also for her.” Because: “I was resting,” says the singer, who has been married to motocross rider Carey Hart (47) since 2006.
