"If the entire people take to the streets, the government has to leave"

Several Cubans participated in an intense debate in a Miami barbershop about the need to denounce the reality of Cuba on social networks and whether the entire people should take to the streets to demand their rights.

The protagonist of the video, very upset, defended the importance of showing on the Internet the things that really happen on the Island, since many people in the world have the wrong idea.

He recalled that on a trip to Seville, in Spain, he saw a huge poster of the Cuban revolution with the photo of Che, and stressed that if the millions of emigrants around the world upload things to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, the world You will be able to really know the situation in Cuba.

“He is not Cuban,” he said, pointing to a customer in the store, “and he thinks that Cuba is wonderful and that socialism is wonderful,” he said.

Next, the discussion turned to what Cubans should do within the Island to achieve a change in the system.

“What I say is: ‘the people have to come out, don’t be afraid,’ I tell them,” he said.

To a person who responded by saying that the person protesting is going to prison, he categorically assured that this is a lie.

“If the entire town takes to the streets, the government has to leave,” he said.

“There cannot be two million people imprisoned, I do tell people to get out on the streets,” he added.
