A man, known in the city of Puerto Iguazú for his work as a street vendor, was involved in a traffic accident at dawn this Wednesday, where he and his entire family were injured. Although his daughters and wife were discharged with fractures in their limbs, the man continues to be admitted to the local hospital with multiple fractures. Firefighters had to rescue him from the vehicle’s passenger compartment.

According to the data released by the Volunteer Firefighters, the accident occurred after 1 o’clock on Avenida Néstor Kirchner with a trapped victim, the 4 occupants were referred by the 107.

Volunteer Firefighters, 107 and the Police worked at the scene. The 25-year-old man had to undergo surgery and according to the report provided to his relatives, they must perform others so that he can recover.

At the time of impact in the area there were many people who came to help the occupants of the vehicle, the driver, his wife and their two children. The neighbors took the woman and the girls out of the room and waited for the arrival of the Volunteer Firefighters who had to remove the man after several minutes of work.

“My husband dodged a motorcycle so as not to hit it and he lost control of the vehicle, we ended up against a pole and a commercial premises,” said the woman who has both legs damaged due to the impact. “My daughters have fractures, I can’t move and my husband is seriously ill. He is the breadwinner of the house, I don’t know what to do. We have many bills, we are street vendors and with that we survive, if we can’t work we can’t pay the bills and the surgery with the prostheses for my husband”.
