A Image hosting and sharing platform Imgur announced that, as of May 15, explicit images will no longer be allowed.

The company said that it will focus on removing “sexually explicit content, nudity and pornography”, noting that this type of images poses a risk to “the company’s community and business”.

However, the company indicates that some kind of nudity will still be allowed.

“Artistic nude will continue to be allowed, as it was under the previous rules, however, as we are calibrating the automatic identification tools, some content that may have been allowed as ‘artistic exceptions’ may not apply in this case”can be read in a blog post from Imgur.
