Strong winds registered this Sunday afternoon in Ponce caused damage to the Charles H. Terry court in that municipality while young people played basketball as part of the “Little Lads” tournament.
The gusts managed to disarm the floor of the sports complex and some players suffered minor injuries.
However, personnel from the Office of Emergency Management arrived at the scene and none of the players required medical assistance.
