PHOENIX – Phoenix police are investigating the death of a man who was electrocuted Wednesday inside a hot tub at a north-city gym.
Officers received a report of an injured person in the area of 68th Street and Chauncey Lane, according to a statement.
“When officers arrived, they found an unconscious male inside a hot tub with exposed electrical wires,” the statement detailed. “Arizona Public Service (APS) personnel were able to shut off power to the building,” it said.
The man, according to police, died at the scene. The case is under investigation.
