O Indian government announced that it will ban a total of 14 applications, justifying the decision with the spread of terrorism and propaganda.

How does the GSMArena website, among the apps in question we find 13 dedicated exclusively to exchanging messages and one that is used to store conversations, photos and videos. Among the banned apps we find Crypviser, Enigma, Safeswiss, Wickrme, Mediafire, Briar, BChat, Nandbox, Conion, IMO, Element, Second line, Zangi and Threema.

Apps will certainly be removed from Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store in the coming days, but for those who already have them installed on their devices, it is highly likely that they will remain active.
