At the start of 2023, online banks want to put themselves forward through new welcome offers. And this weekend, it was Fortuneo that got ahead with a new time-limited welcome offer to get up to 150 euro through a card account.

A proven online bank
Fortuneo is a subsidiary of the Crédit Mutuel Arkéa group. When opening your account, the choice of your future bank card will define its terms. You then have a choice of 4 Mastercard cards for all budgets. You will actually have to prove your income to obtain the CB Mastercard (1,200 euros minimum), the Gold Mastercard (1,800 euros minimum) as well as the World Elite CB Mastercard (4,000 euros minimum). The FOSFO Mastercard is unconditional on income.
All these cards have no account maintenance fees as long as you use them. You will then have to pay once a month for the first three in order to meet the free conditions. Fees can range from 3 to 5 euros per month depending on the card chosen.
Mastercard cards charge no fees on payments and withdrawals anywhere in the world. It also relies on the services offered. Some even provide insurance for your leisure and travel. You will also benefit from higher payment limits with the Gold MasterCard or the World Elite, for example.
A practical application, but rather basic
The application is itself simple even if it does not equal the level of some other online banks such as Boursorama Banque for example. Even if it benefits from the visualization of live transactions or the creation of virtual cards.
It has seen many updates to get up to speed over time, with budget management tools or the ability to temporarily block your bank card. But apart from a menu to view stock prices, nothing really new under the sun.

How to register and get up to 150 euros?
When you register, after completing a form, all you need to do is provide a tax notice to prove your income. An initial deposit of 300 euros will also be required when opening your new account. To benefit from the offer, you must register before February 16, 2023 and enter the promo code “FTNFEV23”. Your file should then be finalized within 2 weeks maximum.
Whichever card you choose, you will have to make 5 payments before September 12 to benefit from the 70 euros offered. If you opt for the Gold Mastercard, with the same previous condition, you will receive an additional 80 euros, or 150 euros in all; paid directly into your Fortuneo account. Only these two cards are eligible for the offer. The making of five payments using the subscribed card will be requested within 90 days of opening the account and before the money is transferred to the account within 2 weeks.
