Tonight the Indios baseball team appeared outside the Juarez stadium with the aim of taking the first official team photograph for the 2023 State Baseball League season.

Accompanied by the municipal president of Ciudad Juárez, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, the 34-player squad already wore the six uniforms that the squad led by Heriberto García will have.

The first to go out for the photo was the brand new signing of the season, Carlos ‘Hulk’ Díaz, who stated that he was happy because the start of the campaign is in the municipality, since he assures that the fans in Ciudad Juárez have been extremely warm since the first game he played with the Búhos team in the Zone One Regional Tournament.

“Baseball is a very special sport for the municipality, this is a baseball frontier and we are very happy to see this great team. We hope this team can reach the championship that the city deserves so much,” said Pérez Cuellar.

The Indios de Ciudad Juárez will appear this Thursday for their first game of the season, the rival is none other than the Mineros de Parral. Although the tribe will play this match at the Estadio Juárez, it will not be local at the administrative level, so the inaugural celebration that is scheduled will be held on Friday, the day Juárez receives Parral.
