Ingrid Andress criticized for her performance of the National Anthem at the Home Run Derby

MIAMI.- The singer Ingrid Andress I lived one of the most important moments for a musical artist: performing the National anthem at a sporting event. However, his presentation at the Home Run Derby 2024 has received more rejection than praise from attendees and viewers.

It all happened on the night of July 15, when the iconic baseball competition took place at Globe Life Field in Texas.

The country singer, nominated four times for a Grammy, was in charge of singing the anthem of the USAbut his interpretation was not the best, because his voice broke in each verse.

On social media, netizens have made hundreds of comments about the moment, and the performance has even been compared to the one Fergie made at the 2018 NBA All-Star Game, which was also not well received by viewers.

Prior to the competition, Ingrid had shared on her social networks that her absence was due to the fact that she was finalizing the details of her next album.

“Greetings everyone. I really love you all so much. I’ve been away for a minute, but I’m so excited to announce that my new single Colorado 9 comes out July 24,” he commented.

The singer-songwriter also said that she has organized some special performances to celebrate the launch.

“To celebrate, I’ll be playing two very special shows, one in Nashville this Wednesday, July 17, and one in Denver on Wednesday, July 24, at Globe Hall. Tickets for both are on sale now,” he added.

“Thank you for being here for me even though I’ve been living under a rock. You all are the best and I can’t wait to see you at my shows.”

So far, the artist has not commented on her performance at the Home Run Derby.
