Inno3D has developed a new system to hide the cables of your graphics cards, achieving a much neater look in the case. GeForce GPUs RTX 4070 AX eSports and GeForce RTX 4060-Ti iChill X2 White will arrive with its connector located in the middle of the card, but pointing towards the motherboard, not in front as we are used toa feature that will surely be well received by those looking to have everything neatly organized within the PC.
The company has placed the 8 pin connector backwards, looking towards the motherboard, that is, the power connector is now oriented at 180 degrees. Additionally, it will only be necessary to connect a single cable, which avoids their entanglement. These graphics cards do not have the 12VHPWR connector.
In the case of Inno3D’s two GPUs, it’s clear that this was made possible by the 8-pin connector. However, there is no stopping this design from being perfected and made available as well. for 12VHPWR connectors in the future.
Inno3D layout changes depending on the model
It is worth noting that, although the GeForce RTX 4070 AX eSports and GeForce RTX 4060-Ti iChill X2 White follow the same idea, Inno3D applies them differently. On the RTX 4070 it has a hinge in the middle of the backplate, allowing the user to open and insert the 8-pin cable, and then close it again. On the RTX 4060-Ti, on the other hand, due to its considerably smaller size, you just have a bigger space for it to sit in, with an extension of the plastic that prevents it from getting too far from the backplate.
Both products will come with cables already included so that the user only has to connect them to the power source. There is still no forecast on the availability of both video cards, as well as a suggested retail price.
