Before integrating AI into Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook to compete with ChatGPT, Instagram finally allows users to add multiple links to their profile. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the change Tuesday on his broadcast channel. “You can now add up to five links in your Instagram bio, he says. “It was probably one of the features what we were asked the most“. So Instagram users can now add a maximum of five.
This new feature could sign the death warrant of multi-link redirect platforms like Linktree. Or at least slow down their employment, because it is likely that those who were already using these services to redirect to their other profiles will continue to do so. Indeed, they have had time to establish a very useful format that offers more customization and allows the inclusion of more than five links.
It would seem that there are currently no restrictions on the links put forward. To experiment, the author of this article temporarily put the address of Pornhub in his profile links, to see if the application would refuse to redirect to a pornographic site: no reaction. This probably means that many “influencers” will now have their OnlyFans address with a storefront on Instagram. That wouldn’t be completely absurd, considering Meta officials are accused of taking bribes from OnlyFans.
How to add multiple links in your Instagram bio
You can add multiple links to your Instagram profile by tapping the “Edit Profile” button that appears above your photo grid and highlights. If you’ve updated the app, Instagram will let you know by going to your profile.

A new “+” button has appeared for this purpose in the UI. If you add multiple links to your profile, Instagram will truncate the first one and show the number of following links. If you tap on the first link that appears, a selection screen is displayed allowing you to see all the links at the same time. For now, it is not possible to perform this manipulation on a computer.
