Paris St. Germain will have to wait for the arrival of Milan Skriniar until the new season. The French capital club has already agreed with the Slovakian central defender about a change in the summer. Attempts to bring the 27-year-old to Paris in January apparently failed because of Benjamin Pavard.
According to ‘L’Équipe’, Inter Milan have made an offer for Pavard to Bayern Munich. According to the report, the Nerazzurri wanted to leave the France international on loan with an option to buy until the end of the season. Late on Tuesday evening, the decision is said to have been made on Säbener Straße not to give up the 26-year-old during the season.
As a result, Inter were not open to saying goodbye to Skriniar. With Pavard as a replacement, the Italians would have let the regular player go. Without being able to adequately compensate for the departure, the option to collect a fee for Skriniar was not taken. Now Skriniar will join PSG on a free transfer in the summer.
