“It does not have the authorization of the Municipality of Cusco, of the Emufec; No one can dare to take the Cusco festival, the Tayta Inti festival, to any place, without the knowledge of the municipality, which is the responsible entity”, affirmed the mayor of Cusco.

In article 2 of the same law, it recognizes the Provincial Municipality of Cusco as “holder of the Copyright of the contemporary version of Inti Raymi”. In another section of the norm it is read that “it is in charge of safeguarding its authenticity and authorizing the staging in any place”.
