As expected, the new betas for macOS, tvOS and watchOS did not stop there. It continues!
Apple has just distributed Beta 2 of iOS 17.1 and iPadOS 17.1 to developers for testing purposes. The beta comes a week after Apple distributed Beta 1 of iOS 17.1 and iPadOS 17.1.
This is what iOS 17.1 brings
iOS 17.1 adds the option of “Favorite Songs, Albums, Playlists, Artists, and More,” where favorite library content can be added via a starred feature. Marking favorites is also possible via the lock screen using the Now Playing widget.
Additionally, song suggestions are now displayed when starting a playlist. AirDrop transfers work over the internet with iOS 17.1. Spatial proximity is no longer the criterion.
We are loading the betas onto our devices and will inform you as usual if there are any innovations or changes in Beta 2.
