After rumors that Apple could make a major change to the side buttons of the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, changes made the company postpone the debut of virtual buttons with simulated vibration click until next year, but that doesn’t mean that everything will remain the same in the 2023 models.

New renderings by 3D artist Ian Zelbo for the website 9to5Mac detail the possible final design of Apple’s most powerful smartphone duo.

The images highlight that the volume buttons will remain separated into two physical click pieces, unlike the single piece that should only be used on next year’s iPhone 16 Pro, when the physical volume and power buttons will be replaced by the simulated vibration click. .

In another publication we see the new “Action Button” (or Action Button) of the iPhone 15 Pro, responsible for replacing the current physical key mute button by offering a vibration motor in a static part.

According to rumors, this new button will have custom actions and will not be dedicated exclusively to activating or deactivating the silent mode.

Thanks to the change to the vibration motor, we also notice the distinctive oblong shape without the presence of a part that moves as in previous models.

Finally, the renderings created by Zelbo based on updated files reinforce the presence of the impressive thin borders around the screen of the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. The duo can break the record for smartphones with the thinnest edges in the world at its launch.

As expected, the Dynamic Island will be maintained for another year with the arrival of the new models with no change in shape or size, even with the proximity sensor being integrated into the notch.

O 9to5Mac claims that these new CAD files (which indicate the end of product design development and preparation for the start of manufacturing) came from “an extremely reputable source” and we hope that this, in fact, could be the final look of the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.

For comparison, the new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus should keep the mute button used by Apple for generations without a vibration motor, but inheriting features from the most powerful duo such as the USB-C connector, Dynamic Island and new design with corners rounded.
