DxOMark has taken on the iPhone 15’s camera assumed.
The result is positive for Apple: The iPhone 15 Pro Max takes the best photos of all four models. With 154 points in the test, it is also the second best smartphone in the world when it comes to photos and videos.
Second place behind the Huawei P60
Only the Huawei P60, released in March 2023, comes in ahead of him in the ranking with 156 points. In third place, just behind the iPhone 15 Pro, is the Oppo Find X6 Pro.
The testers particularly praise the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s camera stabilization and color depth. However, the large gaps in the lens apertures pose problems.
Praise also for video features
DxOMark also has positive words for the video quality of the iPhone 15 Pro Max:
Video exposure and color reproduction were very consistent under most conditions, and the texture-to-noise ratio was the best we’ve seen to date. The autofocus system performed well even in low light conditions and the video stabilization was among the best on the market.
