Praise for the USB-C port as a charging port

I know we all have mixed feelings about USB-C, but I want to tell you something nice that happened: The 15 Pro Max’s battery was low, so I took the USB-C charging cable from my MacBook Air unplugged and plugged it directly into the phone. No searching for another cable. No dongles. Just a USB-C charger that powers a USB-C iPhone.
Tom’s Guide is also pleased with the battery life:
In our battery test, which involves continuous web surfing with a screen brightness of 150 nits, the iPhone 15 Pro lasted 10 hours and 53 minutes. That’s 40 minutes longer than the iPhone 14 Pro and almost 2 hours longer than the Pixel 7 Pro. We think 11 hours or more is excellent.
Kif Leswing from CNBC also says something else about the titanium frame:
Apple says the 6-inch iPhone 15 Pro is 187 grams, or 9%, lighter than last year’s model. The iPhone 15 Pro Max weighs 8% less with a larger 6.7-inch screen. But in practice it feels like an even bigger reduction. When I go back to my old iPhone 14 Pro, it feels like a brick. The difference in weight between this year’s Pros and last year’s is noticeable, even with the case.
And TechCrunch’s Matthew Panzarino is excited about the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s new 5x optical zoom feature:
