You are currently viewing iPhone 15: This is how the price could develop until 2024

The basic price of the iPhone 15 is cheaper than the iPhone 14.

Which also means: In the next few months the price will probably drop to lower values than previous models. A well-known price comparison portal has adopted this calculation and this is how it was done here at Idealo published the results.

90 euros cheaper after three months

The result reads gratifyingly:

According to our forecast, which is based on the price trends of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 13, the price of the iPhone 15 is likely to fall very soon after it goes on sale. After about three months, the model could be over 90 euros cheaper.

After six months you can probably save 20 percent:

From the sixth month onwards, the savings should be around 20 percent. Based on the starting price of 949 euros, a saving of around 185 euros would be possible in this case. This would also mean a provisional low price has been reached – because according to our forecast, from the seventh month after publication, we do not expect any further price drop until the successor is released in 2024.

Only a 15 percent price drop for the Pro?

For the Pro model, the price could drop a little slower and less. Up to 15 percent after six months is probably possible.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max is – like its predecessors 14 Pro Max and 13 Pro Max – once again the most expensive iPhone of the current generation. Accordingly, in absolute terms, the savings would be highest after a few months. According to our price forecast, if you remain patient and wait before buying, you could save around 230 euros after six months (-16 percent).

Afterwards, the price drop is likely to weaken significantly – as with the sister models iPhone 15 and 15 Pro.

Idealo therefore recommends: If you want an iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Pro, it’s best to wait six months. Then the best offers should be available – or you just wait a year for it iPhone 16.
