The iPhone 15 shows you its charging cycles in detail in the settings.
For this purpose, Apple created a new function in iOS 17 for the device. You can find it in the settings General > Info a new option in the “Battery” section.
Charging cycles visible directly in the settings
In addition to information about the battery’s manufacturing date and the date it was first used, there is now also information about its charging cycles. This helps to see the age of the component, especially when purchasing used devices.
The charging cycle is always a complete discharge of 100 percent battery capacity. There can be several charging processes between this discharge of the nominal value, for example if you set the iPhone so that it can only be charged up to 80 percent.
