Apple imposes the iPhone, Google is the big loser
To conduct its study, ElectronicsHub analyzed repairing 228 iFixit smartphones, a site that needs no introduction that provides guides and tools for users to perform repairs themselves. Repair by a professional is often expensive, even if Europe is going to set up new devices, doing it yourself can be more advantageous financially.
If Google’s Google Pixel 7, whose foldable Pixel Fold smartphone was showcased during Star Wars Day, is the bad performer with 60.3 minutes of repair time for a difficulty of 100%the Motorala G7 takes first place with 25 minutes for a difficulty of 50%!
Surprise, Apple leads in ease of repair compared to Android smartphones by placing several of its models in the ranking. We find the iPhone 11 Pro Max in 4th place with a repair time of 63.2 minutes for a difficulty of 30%. Then comes the iPhone 13 in 5th place with a repair time of 67.8 minutes for a difficulty of 25%.
Finally, the iPhone 14 is in 8th place with repair time 47.7 minutes for a difficulty of 20% and the iPhone 12 in 10th place with a repair time of 72.2 minutes for a difficulty of 20%.

Why is the iPhone easier to repair than Android smartphones?
Apple surpasses the other manufacturers in the ranking thanks to its new strategy.
