The iQOO 12 line should be announced in the last quarter of this year. However, before its launch, the Chinese manufacturer will bring a new flagship model for the iQOO 11 series in China.

The iQOO 11S will bring powerful specs and could surpass even the iQOO 12 in some ways, according to a new leak from the Digital Chat Station tipster on Weibo.

According to Digital Chat Station, the iQOO 12 line will not hit the market with support for 200W fast charging. Although the iQOO 11S does not bring wireless charging, it will come with 200W.

The tipster also confirms that the iQOO 11S will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform, but overclocked, presenting a slight performance advantage compared to the standard version.

On the display, the iQOO 11S should feature a 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED screen with QuadHD+ resolution, support for 144 Hz refresh rate and digital reader. In the operating system, the cell phone will hit the market with Android 13 under the OriginOS 3 interface.

Other flagship specifications include 8 GB or 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256 GB UFS 4.0 internal storage. In the photographic set, the iQOO 11S will come with a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization and the proprietary vivo V2 ISP chip.

The iQOO 11S is expected to be made official in the third quarter of this year, but the Chinese manufacturer has not confirmed any information so far.

In a post shared this Wednesday, the well-known and reliable Digital Chat Station decided to release the first specifications of the new iQOO 11S.

According to the leaker, this new smartphone has two important highlights: processor and loading. The first point involves the presence of chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 com overclock. That is, the one that until then was exclusive to Samsung.

In addition, the device will also deliver 200W fast charging technology, something that is capable of making its 4,500 mAh battery reach 100% in just 10 minutes of taking it.

Other important features present in the iQOO 11S still include the Samsung E6 AMOLED screen with 2K resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate.

In the rear set of cameras, the top of the line should deliver a 50 MP main sensor with a V2 ISP imaging system.

Finally, the iQOO 11S should also have versions with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM (LPDDR5X) and 256 GB or 512 GB of internal storage (UFS 4.0).

So far, there is no confirmation from the manufacturer as to a possible launch date, but that could change soon, as rumors point to a presentation in the third quarter.

iQOO 11S expected to be announced soon with Dimensity 9300 and 12 GB of RAM

The iQOO 11 line was announced in China in December last year. The devices bring powerful specifications, such as Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform, 16 GB of RAM and AMOLED screen.

Now, rumors suggest that the family should receive a new member, the iQOO 11S. It should bring a new chipset and had some details revealed by the informant Paras Guglani.

According to an article on the MEF Mobile website, the iQOO 11S has a code V2304A and will arrive in the third quarter of 2023, launching on the global market between June and August.

In the Chinese market, it should come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage or 12GB of RAM and 512GB. Both variants should bring LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage.

The iQOO 11S should bring a 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1,440 × 3,200 pixels, but it was not specified whether the screen will be flat or curved. Under the hood, the Dimensity 9300 chipset is mentioned, which has yet to be announced. If not, it should come with the Dimensity 9000.

In specs, it should inherit a part of iQOO 11. As a reminder, it brings support for 144Hz refresh rate, 2K resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and 5,000mAh battery unit with 120W fast charging.

In cameras, the device features a triple module with a 50-megapixel main sensor, another 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 13-megapixel telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom. For selfies and video calls, it has a 16-megapixel front sensor.
