Apple may not be through with this year’s product launches yet.
The Digitimes from Asia reportedthat the company could introduce an iPad mini 7 this year. The device from the end of 2021 is currently still in the range; it’s almost two years old.
Spec update later this year?
There could at least be a small specs update if you don’t want to get rid of the device completely. That’s how Digitimes sees it, but they don’t offer any information about specific improvements in terms of processors or cameras.
No information on a possible schedule
Incidentally, new figures show that the iPad mini is currently more popular than the entry-level iPad without an add-on. This could be another reason for Apple to invest a little in the product.
