The season Every time we meet is coming to an end, and on Saturday it is singer, rapper and songwriter Isah (23), whose real name is Kaleb Isaac Ghebreiesus, who is the last guest of honor in the programme.
The Stavangergutten is one of the youngest participants in Hver gang vi møstes ever, and during the season has made a name for himself with, among other things, “Alt du vil ha” and “Hopelessly Hopeless”, which at the time of writing have been streamed five and one million times respectively on Spotify.
Isah may only be 23 years old, but has managed to make a solid name for himself in the music industry with his pleasant R&B voice.

His debut came in 2017 when he released “E på tur” on SoundCloud. The talent ended up on the radar of Karpe – who was then invited as a vocalist on the album Sas Plus/Sas Pussy in 2019.
In the same year, together with the rapper Dutty Dior, Isah had a breakthrough with the single “Hallo”. The song ravaged the VG list for 38 weeks, with third place as the best position.
For “Hallo”, the artist collected the awards for newcomer of the year and song of the year under P3 Gold 2019.
The 23-year-old followed up the success with the two-part EP, Sukkerspinn & hodepine – which won him the Spellemannprisen 2019 in the categories Urban and breakthrough of the year.
As if that wasn’t enough, he was nominated for song of the year for “Hallo” together with Dutty Dior during the same awards ceremony.
In 2020, the young artist was named the year’s shooting star under by:Larm.
Hits such as “Zelda”, “LUV MEG”, “Drukne” and “Eyes in the neck” have caused hundreds of thousands to open their eyes to Isah. Furthermore, the rapper has sold out several concerts, and has been on tour in Norway and Europe with Karpe.
