"It hasn't been an easy year without him"

This November 22nd marked the first anniversary of the death of Pablo MilanésOne year after her physical departure, her daughter’s words Haydée Milanés They came to remember the one who always accompanies her and taught her the love of music.

On her social networks the Cuban singer dedicated a post to his father full of longing and a lot of love.

“Whenever I think about my father leaving on the day of Saint Cecilia, patron saint of musicians and poets, I feel it as a magical and beautiful fact of destiny. It hasn’t been an easy year without him. A few days ago I thought about calling him on the phone and talking to him, listening to his voice, and I realized that that was no longer possible,” Haydée wrote.

“I was telling a friend that the truth is that I don’t feel like he’s not there, but on the contrary, I feel him closer and closer to me. Sometimes I notice it when I talk to my daughter, when I look at a landscape, when I read a book, listen to music, or eat something he liked. Now my father accompanies me everywhere, and he began to command that blessed light that guides, protects and accompanies me,” the artist confessed.

“I am calm, because I know that I gave him a lot of love, and I never tired of repeating how much I loved him. Today I don’t feel sad; I sing him a song and tell him: I love you dad, I gave you some beautiful flowers!”, he closes his post.

On December 15, Haydée will offer a concert at Flamingo Theater Bar in Miami in tribute to his dad in which he will sing several of those songs by Pablo Milanés that will remain forever among lovers of his music.

This Wednesday Liam Milanés also remembered his father and through the networks he said that he misses him and he misses him very much.
