“It is very serious that officers of the Military High Command spread false information that they themselves know is false – about my position towards the National Armed Forces. The members of the Venezuelan military family know that in the new Venezuela they will have a future of dignity, security and respect,” Machado said on his networks, replicating a publication by the head of the Strategic Operational Command of the FANB of Venezuela, General in Chief Domingo Hernández Lárez.
The false information was also considered dishonorable, in the case of a senior officer, according to the media.

The officer, who has held the high position since 2021, used his X account to post the altered image of Machado speaking to an audience and sitting in front of a blackboard that was originally clean but that the soldier shows with false messages.
