Let’s just say they were analyzed as many as 50 international cuisines and a rather sensational figure concerns the ninth place of the French “nouvelle cuisine”. Indeed, in front of the highly prized transalpine tradition, here are Turkey and the United States. Japanese dishes made a sensational comeback, literally dragged along by the sushi, but Mexican, Indian and even Turkish cuisine is also making a comeback. For lovers of statistics and surprises, the equal merit between France and Peru is especially important. While the traditional and now very commercial Chinese cuisine leaves the top 10 for the first time, placing itself in 11th place, on a par with Brazilian cuisine.
