Jaime Guerra is crowned the new Spanish long jump champion

Guerra, sixth in the indoor European Championships held last March in Istanbul, surpassed Madrid’s Héctor Santos (FC Barcelona) by 18 centimeters, who took the silver medal with a mark of 7.96 metres.

The veteran Eusebio Cáceres completed the podium, who was unable to achieve his seventh national champion title, after finishing third with a single valid jump of 7.80 meters.

For her part, Una Stancev (Trops-Cueva de Nerja) chained her second consecutive win in the high jump, after winning this Sunday at the Parc Central de Torrent facilities with a mark of 1.86 meters.

The woman from Granada, of Serbian origin, surpassed Cristina Ferrando (Playas de Castellón) by 6 centimeters, silver with 1.80 meters, and Nuria Caballero (FC Barcelona), who had to settle for bronze due to her highest number of nulls. EFE
