Presenter Jana Azizi and sports professional Johann Ackermann celebrated their dream wedding with family and friends in Croatia at the weekend.
Presenter Jana Azizi, 34, and triathlete Johann Ackermann, 39, officially said yes on September 12th. At the weekend there was a big celebration with family and friends on the Croatian Adriatic coast. It was the celebration of her life, “relaxed, so emotional and feeling and incredibly special,” enthuses the new wife to the “Bild” newspaper. “It was just a dream.”
It started in their family restaurant in Split, after which the party moved on to “a wonderful location by the sea in Trogir”. “My husband, family, friends, dancers, singers, drummers, DJ – a huge celebration of love, trust, eternal connection. We loved it and all of us,” says Azizi about the festival with around 100 guests.
For the wedding itself, the bride wore a white tulle dress with flounces. As “RTL” showsshe then celebrated in a red party dress with fringes.
The Croatian wedding was a dream come true
There are many good reasons why the two chose Croatia as the location for their dream wedding: “Because Johann and I have so much in common with this country. Family, the feel-good experience in this country and the beauty of nature and diversity. It was already our dream “to always celebrate our love by the sea and in the sun,” she tells the tabloid.
By the way, she will keep her last name professionally, but privately she has been called Jana Ackermann since the wedding. The question still remains about the honeymoon. The Ackermann couple can still look forward to that, because at the end of the year they are going “on a camping holiday to New Zealand – we love the adventure and nature in Oceania,” she says.
Ackermann asked Azizi the question of all questions during a romantic trip to Paris in December. Azizi posted these photos of the application on Instagram.
