Stellantis started Project 516, the attempt to nationalize the production line of what they estimate to be the new generation of Fiat, with the Jeep Avenger. The model was launched in Europe at the end of 2022 and is the brand’s first 100% electric model. To follow up on the project, since March, the group has been looking for suppliers to settle at its factory in Betim (MG) to assemble the compact SUV.

The new model is estimated to launch in late 2025 or 2026, a little after the Argo Next Gen. According to the Autos Secrets websiteit will be the first Jeep to be produced from the CMP (Common Modular Platform) platform of the former PSAbut will have a similar design to the Renegade.

For now, there has been no confirmation from Fiat or Jeep about this national launch. But the portal analyzes the specificities of the model that has great potential for national investment.

The vehicle is 4.08 meters long, 1.78 m wide, 1.53 m high and has a wheelbase of 2.56 m, in addition to a trunk with a capacity of 380 liters. It also has mechanical combustion and also hybrid assemblies. In the case of thermal versions, it will have the 1.0 Turbo Flex T200 engine connected to the CVT exchange; in hybrids, power is provided by the 1.0 Turbo Flex T220 engine associated with a 100V – 150V electric motor with a power of 20 – 40 kW and a battery with a capacity of 1-2 kW.
